The 60 Gig ps3 is is able to play all ps2 games. but it is obsolete right now. The 80 gig is backward compatable, but I am not sure how many pf them will play on the 80 gig.

What county do you live in? Because I live in the US and the 20, 60, and 80 GB all have backwards compatibility. The 20 and 60 aren’t being made right now, but the 80 is. The 40 GB is the only one without the Emotion Engine or software emulator built in, like you are saying.
